Moreover, membrane-2 (M2) ion channel promotes fusion and uncoating, and neuraminidase (NA) facilitates the progeny virus release. Collectively, quercetin interferes at different steps including viral binding, uncoating, mRNA synthesis, negative-strand synthesis, assembly, and release [12]
